TERUMO CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTS SINGLE SOURCE SERVICE BUSINESS SOFTWARE TO MANAGE AND DRIVE PRODUCTIVITY IN SERVICE OPERATION

Indianapolis, IN – April 1, 2008 – Single Source Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that Terumo Cardiovascular Systems (CVS) has implemented Service Management-Plus (SM-Plusä) as its new enterprise service management software system.  Terumo CVS will use SM-Plus to manage all service operations, including the company’s 24-hour product support helpline, technician scheduling and dispatch, mobile field service,  depot repair, service contracts and preventive maintenance, service parts and returned goods authorizations.

“We selected Single Source SM-Plus service management software to help us continually improve service delivery to our customers, drive efficiency and productivity throughout our service organization and to improve access to critical service history data for quality analysis,” said Stephen Wells, Director of Service for Terumo CVS. With our existing AS400 service system no longer being supported, it was critical that we found a solution that would not only meet all of our service management needs but also integrate with our JD Edwards ERP system to improve financial controls and ensure FDA quality system compliance.”

Terumo CVS develops and manufactures products for the cardiac surgical team with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary bypass, intraoperative monitoring, and vascular grafts.

Single Source SM-Plus, a Microsoft .Net-based information system, manages and maintains both company-owned and customer-owned assets. SM-Plus provides highly functional service business process support, including call taking, scheduling and dispatch, wireless mobile field service, depot repair, work order management, preventive maintenance, service contracts, purchasing, inventory control, and costing.  All functions seamlessly integrate to
back-office financial and management reporting.
