ELITE ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING, INC. SELECTS SINGLE SOURCE SM-PLUS™ SOFTWARE
TO IMPROVE SERVICE BUSINESS EFFICIENCIES
Indianapolis, IN and Downers Grove, IL – August 8, 2006 – Single Source Systems, Inc. and
Elite Electronic Engineering of Downers Grove,
Illinois, are pleased to announce that Elite has selected SM-Plus as its new business software system. Elite will use SM-Plus to run their entire test
laboratory service operation -- with an emphasis on using the SM-Plus resource scheduling function to allocate the appropriate engineers and test cells for
their projects and the SM-Plus Web Employee Portal to collect labor data -- eliminating paper-based work orders and re-keying information.
Elite, a premier EMC laboratory in North America and a recognized leader in Electromagnetic Compatibility testing, expects SM-Plus to improve operating efficiencies
for their main laboratory
in Downers Grove, Illinois, as well as the EMC test facility in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Elite performs electromagnetic compatibility, radio frequency interference, vibration, and extreme temperature testing on electronic components and devices.
Their clients include virtually every
high-tech industry. The organization serves automotive, commercial aviation, military, telecommunications, industrial
equipment and consumer product manufacturers among others.
SM-Plus is an integrated information system that manages and maintains both company-owned and customer-owned assets. SM-Plus provides highly functional service
business process support, including purchasing, inventory control,
and costing. All functions seamlessly integrate to back-office financial and management reporting.
Elite will use SM-Plus to improve efficiencies of their call center operations, resource scheduling,
work order labor entry, review, approval and billing and operational and financial reporting.
