The Demand Solutions Interface allows the user to use the power of the Demand Solutions forecasting algorithms to calculate future demand of inventory items.
The DS Interface exports shipment and/or invoice history information out of Syteline in monthly buckets. These buckets are then imported into Demand Solutions where the user can use any of the sophisticated forecast algorithms within Demand Solutions. After the forecast has been adjusted properly, the user can then import the forecast into the standard Syteline MRP forecast tables.
During the Forecast import process, the MRP net change flag is set for all items updated. This will signal MRP to re-generate information for that item. |
