Single Source in the House!
Happy first day of spring! If you follow our President Cory Rhodes on Twitter, you know he has a penchant for the hashtag #SSSinthehouse. The last...
Serving our community is a passion at Single Source, and our goal in 2017 is to participate in an event as a company once a quarter, especially events that have a personal connection to an employee.
For Q1, we’re teaming up with the son of our Controller, Terri Smith. Jack is a sophomore at Fishers High School who participates in Unified Track. It is a high school sport supported by the Special Olympics and allows students with and without intellectual disabilities to collectively represent their school together in an Indiana High School Athletic Association-sanctioned activity. This team has been amazing for Jack. It has allowed him to participate in school sports, and the kids and coaches involved with the team are wonderful. Just check out the joy among his teammates and him (#57 in the middle) when they went to the State Finals last year (and one of the coaches photobombing in the background!).
Jack’s team is participating in the 2017 Polar Plunge, which involves an invigorating leap into the frigid waters of the Eagle Creek Park Reservoir. This extreme fundraising event for the warm at heart benefits Special Olympics of Indiana. Many Single Source team members, including President Cory Rhodes, volunteered for “Freezin’ for a Reason” on Saturday, March 4th.
Want to help support this near and dear cause? We would greatly appreciate help with our fundraising efforts, or you could spread the word by sharing/retweeting our posts about the event on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn!
