New Leadership Stresses Continued Commitment to Customers

New leadership positions were announced recently by Single Source Systems as the company gears up for the next phase in strategic goals, while reinforcing its long-standing principles for success.

Terri Smith promoted to President. Terri has been a vital member of the Single Source organization for 36 years, holding a variety of roles, from accounting to consulting and marketing. “I learned a lot about the business largely from hands-on roles and opportunities to meet customers and partners,” says Terri. She adds that working alongside the company founder, Tony Petrucciani, and Marty Rhodes, outgoing president, also provided valuable learning experiences. “They have been excellent mentors, always taking time to explain their thought process and reasoning behind decisions.”

Tom Cavanaugh is now Vice President of Products and Services. Tom has been on the team for over 20 years, most recently as director of Professional Services, overseeing implementations, consulting, and programming services. Tom says he is excited to continue to offer customers such services. Staying aware of evolving market demands or new opportunities will also be part of his purview. “For over 40 years Single Source has honed its processes and methodology, perfecting how we help customers deploy new solutions,” Tom says. “Those standards won’t change. Consistency is important,” he adds.

Marty Rhodes will take on Product Management as he moves toward retirement later this year. Marty has over 40 years of experience working with customers through the development and implementation of software and business process improvement, all while providing leadership in the role of president for nearly 30 years. Marty says that he is looking forward to retirement and feels confident about passing the company's reins to strong leaders like Terri and Tom. “Because of the solid foundation we have set in place, I know the transition will be seamless,” says Marty. “I am confident about the future for Single Source—and for what lies ahead for customers, colleagues, and employees —people I think of as family.”

Expertise in field service and Infor solutions remain unchanged. Single Source Systems is recognized as anindustry leader for its expertise in field service management. Single Source also has deep domain experience in key Infor solutions, CloudSuite industrial (SyteLine), Infor Service Management, and CloudSuite Distribution. Customers will still be able to rely on that knowledge.

IncentViz for smarter commission management will continue to be a product priority. IncentViz integrates to Infor CloudSuite Industrial, CloudSuite Distribution, Infor Service Management, and Infor VISUAL and helps organizations automate and streamline commission and rebate programs.

The old and the new blend. “The way we do things, our team culture has always been about trust, integrity, and transparency. Tom and I both believe in those management principles. We know that they work,” says Terri.

The new roles went into effect February 1. The transition team began preparing for the new organizational chart a year ago, with Terri and Tom shadowing Marty and gradually assuming responsibilities. “It’s an exciting time for the company. For customers and partners, it will be normal, business as usual,” says Terri. “We are simply taking another step in a long journey, adapting to change, moving forward with confidence,” she adds.
